My story
LPippa is sweet puppy disguised as a big, tough guard dog. She loves to snuggle for hours, but also requires a lot of exercise. She is STRONG and has a need for speed, so a securely fenced yard is a must for her. Pippa is smart, sensitive and very devoted. She knows several commands and is crate trained. She appears to be young and still learning, so will it will require patience and persistence for her to master her commands perfectly. She gets anxious in unfamiliar settings and yelling or roughness is not at all useful. She responds well to gentle firmness. She is obedient, but struggles to control her impulses at times. She is potty trained, crate-trained, and very much wants to please her person. She loves to meet people and other dogs. Being with you is what makes her happy. Her biggest needs are love, quality time, exercise, and stability to help her overcome a few issues. She exhibits some crate aggression, food guarding and possessiveness, so she is not a good fit for a family with young children or a small dog. She wants to play with other dogs, and very much wants to make friends with cats but her exuberance may make it tricky and this will be a process.
